That's very low miles, it depends how the body is. What does it need and what do you want to do to it? It's a pretty rare car so probably worth it, they're nice.

Even if you had to put in a new engine , it is still cheaper to fix it than buy a new one...if you like the car. insurance ,and taxes will be cheaper, You could put more in it than you can get out of it , but if you plan to keep it ...GO For it... Plus future maintenance will be less costly than a new one , if it were mine I would do it even with a new motor or the present motor fixed I have seen those cars go 2 -3 hundred thousand miles with proper maintenance.

Yes, honda engines will run forever. Make sure that it is not rusting out in certain areas such as fender wells, especially the rear where the gas tank is. Once hondas/acuras start to rust there is no stopping it.

Only you can determine if it's worth throwing money into modifications and/or repairs. Some things to consider are: book value of car, cost of repairs, body condition, other mechanical repairs necessary. If you're happy with the car and it's pretty sound mechanically, I'd say fix it up and enjoy it for another hundred thousand miles.

it depends on what you want to used it for. Those cars get great gas mileage and at only 70k miles for a car that old is a good thing as long as it was maintained right. They fix up pretty easily and because of the size there is a great deal of additions that you can put in them.

sell it to me and then i'll e-mail you the pics after i do what you could have done to it. no seriously, i was a honda tech for seven years and that car has alot of potential whether you use for every day driver vs. race it out completely there are tons of upgrades for that cor from engine swap, cheap after market products, parts on ebay etc. have fun with this project and appreciate the accomplishments you've made repairing or modifying the crx. good luck dude.

Absolutely, depending on what you mean by fix up. Hondas will run forever. 200,000 miles is not out of the question. The CRX is great on gas mileage, and it very low on maintenance. I had a 87 CRX with more than 110K miles on it. It would still be going today if my wife had not totaled it.
