It depends on how much you want to spend and if you wanna do it yourself or have done to it. First thing that you could do is having an after market exhaust installed, or a cold air intake, or simply changing the spark plugs could give you a little bit of power, but if you are thinking more about hardcore horse power added you are gonna need a turbo and of course there should not be turbo if there is not an intercooler that plus the aftermarket exhaust will get you rolling fast. So you should specify what kind of money you are willing to pay and/or if you wanna do it yourself

Why did you buy a Honda if you wanted a fast car. Two grand is not going to do much to make it go faster. I remember Horsepower TV wasted $1000 on one of those things and for all there effort they gained a whole 10 horsepower. What a Joke.

well install a AEM cold air intake, and a turbo kit. That'll boost up the horse power...

there are other cars out there that have more horsepower than a civic. I would have bought any car that has more horsepower than the civic and put the 2 grand in the bank. My mustang for instance has horsepower and didn't have to put a dime in it to make go faster, just put gas and go!.

I think the civic was a great choice. It will last forever and has great gas mileage.Go to www.superhonda.com. It is great forum and with some searching you can find loads of options for your price range.
