I believe that the 07 odyssey is a 3.5L, v-6, but you may have got confused because it is a 24-valve i-VTEC engine as well.

The 3.5l same as 350Z, Altima, Maxima, Murano but a slightly different tuning.

Depends on which country you're in. The international models (outside North America) of the Odyssey is powered by a 2.4L I4 VTEC with 158 hp (mainly because of the $10/gallon fuel prices over there). North American versions get the 3.5L V6 with 244 horses.
