HOW DO I GET THE LATCH OFF IF I CANT OPEN THE DOOR?

IS the door frozen shut. If its locked and the key doesnt work than call triple a if you have them and they will unlock it by using the window. If the window is wedged in a little they can put a rod in it which unlock the door

my 1990 cougar opens only from the inside but you dont say if this works or not so i cant really help you at this time

To get the latch out you really need to get it to a mechanic shop! In order for you to get the latch out you will need to remove BOTH front seats, remove the driver's side door panel get a zizwheel inside the door to cut the latch off. Then the door will open for you to replace the latch. It takes an experinced Mechanic about 6-7 hours on a good day. You can expect to pay about 600-700 to get this replaced. This is VERY common on all 90-93 Accords

take it to the dealer. you're gonna have to have the latch cut out.this is not something that just anyone can do.

u need to remove the door panel from the inside with the door closed...a pain yes but possible..then u need to drill in the back of the latch a few times till u can get a screwdriver and pop it...then replace the latch....been here done a couple of them...they take like 4 hrs to do!

REMOVING DRIVER SEAT WILL BE HELPFUL ,REMOVE ALL SCREW FROM DOOR PANEL AND REMOVE PANEL REMOVE PLASTIC OR FELT MATERIAL LOOK IN THE DOOR PANEL TO SEE IF THERE IS ANY LINKS OUT OF PLACE IF TRY LUBRICATING LATCH IF THIS DOSE NOT HELP THEN THE NEXT THING TO DO IS TO FIND WHICH LEVER TO PULL TO RELEASE LATCH IF THIS DOSE NOT WORK THEN YOU WILL TAKE TO YOUR MECHANIC TO DO THE JOB

I'm going to be honest with you none of that is worth the money, I had the same thing happen to me, and I found a replacement door at a junkyard, which is really hard to find because its so old (I had a 90 accord too). So what I did was grab a saw zaw with a metal blade and cut around the mechanism and finally broke into it with a heavy duty chisel, took me and two other guys 6 hours just to do that. But basically its not worth paying a mechanic to fix that, I would just take a weekend and grab some tools and start cutting at the mechanism until it gives and replace the door for like 100 bucks.
