if it was the other drivers fault then yes you are covered but if it was your fault then your car will have to be repaired by yourself but the other car will be paid for by your insurance.hopefully it was the other cars fault!

If the other car ran into yours, you will be claiming off their insurance,so you will be covered for your repairs.

If the other party is insured, claim on their insurance and they will provide you with a vehicle till its sorted out.

You are not covered under your own insurance as you only have third party fire and theft - it just covers you for damage you cause to another party. You could claim off their insurance assuming that you have their details. If not, you will have to pay for the damage yourself.

Shouldn't matter. Claim through the other party's insurance instead. If they are fully comp they foot the bill, usually provide a car while your car is repaired and that won't affect your policy.Have you talked to your insurance company to see if they advise the same thing. It's a shame you can't afford a younger car and go fully comp!!Good luck with the claim anyway

if the other person went into you then they will have to pay for your car to get fixed and claim it off their own insurance.

If you were hit by another vehicle and it was the other drivers fault as you claim, then their liability insurance pays you for your loss. Everyone who drives, has to have auto insurance, and carries the minimum coverage, that being liability.

If the other driver has Liability insurance then they must pay. If you did not get a police report then it is going to be hard to get them to pay. But if you did the police report and they have liability then all you have to do is get an estimate for your car, and call thier insurance company and tell them what it is. Or call the person who hit you and tell them to do it.Good luck I hope everything works out!
