I just bought a 98 honda civic EX from dealer. I would like to know if I can buy a keyless remote for my new car and how can I do it....Thank you.

You can buy it from the dealer it usally runs about 80-90 bucks. They should be able to program it for you too.

what is use inbuying remote if car never came with said .that was an optional item ,now it will be an installed item.after market will be cheaper

if your car has the keyless entry option then you can buy a remote. just talk to the honda service dep't and they should be able to tell you. if you do, then you can just get a remote. if you don't then you will have to install it before you can program a remote.
