Personally I would go with a short ram with a pipe that directs an outside air supply toward it. Instead or risking hydrolock from puddles of rain. Either way both can be purchased for cheap on ebay. Basic difference in intakes are the pipe diameter; 3" is the best for the money.Other mods to increase performance; Stock replacement spark plugs if you have not recently changed the old ones. (better fuel economy too!)Tornado is a joke. any efficiency it makes on the low end will be wasted on the high end by disrupting the air flow. Imagine trying to breath through a tube for air then a tube with a spinner in it. maybe it is ok for a little bit, but then try it while you jog.Hope the analogy was entertaining,KC

The tornado is garbage. its been proven time and time again to do absolutley nothing. The best place to get upgrades, is in your garage. Go to the hardware store and buy a 3" outdoor lighting post. Take it to your muffler shop, and have them mandrel bend it, so it will fit. Instead of a $150 intake, you have the same performance for 1/3rd the cost.Other cheap upgrades include a throttle body spacer, a header spacer. They are about $30 each, and they will give you hp (i got 7hp from the tb spacer and header spacer on my probe)port and polish the heads-cost:Freeloose weight: gut everything you can. Do you really need that spare tire and jack in the trunk? I mean if you dont know many people that will drive out to the middle of nowhere to help you change a flat, then you might just want to keep it. replace filters-Under $30replace spark plugs=$50Thats a cheap start.
