A HUGE WING, and exhaust pipe that you can stuff a Grapefruit in, and sounds like a "Kazoo". Black reverse lights, a "mugen" sticker across the windshield, a Gold tooth, and "Spinner" hub caps, Lower the car about an inch off the road, and put in large, yet Low profile tires, this should add 600 H.P.

TO make your Honda Civic Ex a sports car, 1. Change the air filter with a 20% more capacity thatn installed on the car ..select K&N for air filter.2. Use a timing advancer, this changes the stroke timimngs of the engines while combustion. This will pump up the power from the engine by around 25-30%.3. Use a silencer which can handle these changes to the engine.4. Also get a nitrous pack installed, if you want to experience high end acceleration.

If you really want to keep the car...Redo the air flow system. 4-2-1 header, cold air intake, and try getting a custom dual exhaust. (Not a Midas one). Then upgrade the throttle body and add a turbo or supercharger with 9-12psi boost. Don't forget the ECU, you'll need that to run your configurations. Then if you want then replace every body part (fenders, doors, hood, trunk, seats, wing, for carbon fiber parts.)Depends a lot on what you mean by sports car.
