The car turns ove r and it wants to run but it wont.

Have yo check your oil level and airfilter?

Give more information and post the question again, what year?What do you mean by sounding like it's flooding, you mean it smells like gas? Does it do it after you're out and it's hot or first thing when cold? It could be so many things like ignition system bad, injectors or throttle body/idle air control dirty.
