i have a 96 honda civic and i was looking to buy a header on it with the down pipe, but the 02 sensor plug on the header is at the end of the downpipe instead of on the front right of the header, like on my stock exhaust manifold, what do i do, and how long will it take to do it?

I don't understand what your issue is. Splice in a length of wire to extend the connector to the new location. The only critical thing about the O2 sensor is that it be located at a point where it gets hot enough to work. Locating it in the collector or in the runner would be about the same.

Becarful about splicing wire into a senor. I work at a hottub store and some people need to extend their temp. sensors (senses the temp. in the water, then relays it to the control panel.) And on those you cannot splice a wire into it because it disrupts the info. being relayed. But it may be different, I would just recomend going to a mechanic and asking about the issue.
