I bought an AC adapter from the computer section at Wal-Mart.It works perfect for me.Just plug into the vehicle's cigarette lighter, and you have AC power for whatever you need, including your computer.

Buy a Inverter. Get a good one, Laptops pull alot of power so spend the extra cash to get one that will last. Anything that delivers 450+ watts should suffice but would recommend a 600+ watt to be on the safe side. Inverters do tax your alternator and battery if they are underpowered.
