yes, but not that much... it's not really worth going down that road.

Make sure the exhaust pipe is wide enough.

A little. It'll reduce the back pressure. You will have a little more get up and go and higher top end. It'll be louder too. The cost usually doesn't outweigh the increase. I have had minimal gains with my cat back with a performance muffler.

Pretty much any mod that improves airflow in and out of the engine can boost hp. A cat back system might add a few horsepower, but I dout it will be alot. On my 4 cyl 2liter 2001 protege, The first mods I did was a cat back and short ram intake. Added probably about 15 hp at the wheels.I've since thrown on a turbo. Now it's got some hp

Any decrease in exhaust restriction will increase top end horsepower to a point. Therefore, yes it will until the cars governer stops it, if so equipped. Try to get a high flow cat for even better performance if you can.

no it will not a cat-back is nothing but taking a single exhaust and welding a y-splitter some where after the catty and you end up with 2 pipes w/ 2 mufflers, the best you will accomplish is roughly a 10hp gain at the most you can get 20hp if you get cold intake. but the car will not go faster. you will see a minute increase in acceleration, but as far as top speed it is what it is. if you really want to boost performance and top end get a turbo roughly a 50hp gain.

WHAT A TYPICAL RICER QUESTION. At least it's a Honda. I bet you want a bodykit and clear tail lights and neon, haha.
