Default Honda Hybrid Owners, What Octane does your car use?

What octane does a Honda Civic Hybrid use?Can it take E85?I am buying 2 this weekend and just wanted to know what fule they took before I bought them.ThanksI have done quite alot of research, thanks.I just couldn't find the octane requirements.

It's not a flex-fuel vehicle. It takes from 87 octane up...That being said, you might want to do your research before buying two.

as for the octane rating i cant tell u i dont sell them but i do work on them and no u cannot use e 85 in them at all i have actually had a hybrid come in with it and it barly would crank and really didnt want to run...honda does not have any vehicles at this time that will run the e85....as for the octane rating just look at a owners manual before u buy it will say but i cant remember that offf the top of my head

I used to own a honda hybrid civic, only got 32 miles per gallon, my neighbor has the regular civic, he got 38 miles per gallon. Guess what I have now, yep, thats right a regular civic that gets 37-40 miles per gallon.Of course if you are going to buy a hybrid get the Toyota, way faster, better gas mileage, better built PS: I hated my civic hybrid
