Someone told me to drop a B16 engine in, but what car does that engine come stock in? and then even with that engine what would be the best mods? budget:$3000

those are jdm motors for civics. u could do a frankenstein motor just type that in a google search. the most boring and common mod is getting a z6 motor

Mods? What kind of mods? What do you want the car to do? But do you know what type of engine you have? The CRX comes in 3 different engine configurations the 65 hp HF (that gets over 55 mpg) the 90 hp DX, then the 120 hp "hot rod" SI, that gets you up above 140 mph. From my experience it is best to leave the car stock, usually when you try to out guess the japanese designers you lose something. For three thousand dollars you should be able to get whatever you please, but for that price you can get a stock SI, (entire car) that will outrun just about anything on the road considering it is the lightest and most wind resistant mass produced car ever built. I need to know more about what you really want to be able to answer your question effectively.
