I believe they work on a vacuum. Check the hoses to see if they are hooked up right or for possible leaks.

Its a motor. There is a fuse and relay for them, but if the lights turn on its not the relay. There is also a bolt on the motors themselves that can be turned and it will close the lights, but you would have to do the same to raise them again. I suggest going to a junkyard and findind replacement motors.Or look in honda owners groups, for people parting out their cars.www.ntpog.org/www.absoluteprelude.com/preludesitelinks.html http://www.vapog.com/www.preludeonli...ondaforums.com

Wow headlights that work off of vacuum? LOL!I have 2 ludes a 90 and a 91. There is a switch next to the fog light relay on the left side of the steering wheel. Flip that switch with all of the lights off and they should go down. If they dont, then the motors are bad. But you can manually turn them down.Open the hood and behind each headlight will be a cap with an arrow that winds around it. Take the cap off and turn the knob inside. This will cause the headlights to move down. But if they are shot, your best bet will be to just get headlight motors from the junkyard. Make sure you get them off of a lude that has its headlights already down! Good luck!

i own a repair shop, and if the switch wont make them go down ,you can raise the hood and remove the caps ,and there's a knob there for each side ,turn this and it will manually take them down, its a slow process but it works, you may need a new relay if there not working off the switch, the motors on those things usually don't act up. good luck i hope this help,s.

Try all the lights off and use the switch to the left to see if that will lower the lights, check your relays and fuses if these are not the problem then it's the motors..... follow JDM's steps to lower the lights manual and advice if you require new motors.
