ever since i got my car, the check engien light comes on. and i put in the obd2 so i can chekc what was the problem and it said it was the o2 sensor, n i click on "clear" and it didnt want to clear it. the check engine light just kept on comin on. what is the problem? it was in an accident before n it only messed up a little of the right front end of it. i dont think the o2 sensor came up just cause of that

The O2 sensor is very delicate, and a minor accident can cause vibrations that can damage the element causing a code. it may also be in the wiring, there are many possibilties of what it could be, but to find out for sure, take it to a mechanic and have it diagnosed professionally

i own a repair shop, and the 0-2 sensor is real easy to get damaged,,on any car,,there like a spark plug they can break real easy, this may need to be replaced on it ,if the sensor is bad the obd wont clear it off and keep it off,it will come back on,until the sensor is replaced,on it,,good luck,i hope this help,s.

I had the same problem with the Toyota Camry, seeing that orange check engine light for 5 years even though the engine ran fine all these years. Eventually I did replace the O2 sensor near the exhaust manifold and the check engine light went away. The check engine light is still off over a year now.

if its a po135 like im expecting replace your o2 sensor in your exhaust manifold...the bosh units from autozone dont work...i didnt belive that until i worked for honda and seen it first hand more times than i can count

Run your diagnostics and post the code for us. Go to the passenger under the dash there should be this blue plug run a jumper wire and turn the key to the on position and read the blinkslong pause blinks=10flashing blinks =1

Which O2 sensor? There are two, and each has a dedicated code. If it's the lower one - remove the heat shield from the exhaust manifold, and check the casting for cracks. If not found - replace the sensor. For the upper sensor code, just replace the sensor.
