How much is the radiator for 1996 Honda LX ? I live in LA, CA...?

You could pick it up for around $30.If you want a high performance after market, hks is your best choice, and your looking at about $300.If you want a new radiator from the dealer, your looking about around $300-$400.Installation can very immensley. Your looking at about 2 days worth of labor costs. So a mechanic supplied part and labor=$700-$1000

if you are going to take it to a shop besure you get an estimate and sign it, it should be around 200 for parts and labor. you can buy your own radiator from csf for much less and install it yourself in minutes.http://www.hondahookup.com/

New radiator from wholesaler 60-75 dollars. New upper and lower hoses (while you are at it) $20 each for Gates brand @ autozone, Prestone coolant and one gallon of demineralized H20 $12 from Wal-mart. May need new hose clamps depending on condition of old ones 1.50 each may need up to four from Autozone. Tools necessary to complete this would be a pliers, ten mm socket and ratchet, drain pan for old fluids. basic install nothing crazy should take an hour-two hours depending. MAy also think about changing thermostat while you do all this $14 more for failsaif brand @ Autozone.
