Default I read somewhere that I shouldn't tint my windows if I was to have navigation?
My 2007 Civic si is coming next week. Should I tint the windows? I do have navigation. What do you think?

I have a GPS system in my SUV... not installed... and I also have my windows tinted. My mom also got a new car with dark tint and an installed Navigation.... so I dont think that what someone told you is correct.

I WORK FOR A HONDA DEALER & I CAN TELL YOU WITH OUT A DOUBT THAT IT WILL NOT AFFECT THE NAVTHE NAV SYSTEM WORKS LIKE A CELL PHONE& THEY WORK FINE IN TINTED VEHICLES.

Depending on the car it will but since the gps antenna is in the dash of a civic you will be ok

i work for a Honda dealership and we very commonly tint our cars after we receive them from the factory. the tint itself does not harm the navigation especially since most of the antennas for the navi are away from any place that a tint might be. we have been tinting cars for several years now at my dealership and we have NEVER had a problem with a navigation system being affected in any way by a non factory window tint.

some tint can make your navi unit go crazy it all depends on how reflective and dark it is to keep the navi unit working properly u should not...if u dont care about the navi and want the look of tint then go ahead
