Although it is not recommended because there are no child teather straps on the rear seat. If you want to secure it there you have to use the shoulder harness and install it through the base of the seat. I would strongly recommend not installing it there but that is the way it is done

Actually, there should be the same system that's in the outboard second row seats in the middle of the third row seats. They've been installing the lower anchors and tethers for children (latch) on the Odysseys for the last few years. I'd recommend you go to you call a few dealers near you and find someone in sales or the service department that can show you how to use the latch system if you aren't familiar with it.
