a k&n air filter, throttel body spacer, cold air intake, new headers and exuhust, are good starting points if thats not enought then move up to a turbo kit but a new filter and a spacer are very affordable upgrades if you just bought a new car

suspension mods for handling, springs, adjustable shocks/struts. Get a fuel and ignition management computer that you can get tuned for your turbo (c'mon, the turbo's a given). Injectors, many if not all of the previously mentioned items (cold air intake, turbo, etc). Port and polish the heads/manifolds. etc. etc. etc. Many things you can do, I think that's why they call it customizing! Have fun!

Put the 2.0 liter turbo engine from the Volkswagen GTI in it and get yourself about +90 lbft of torque.

IN MY OPINION I WOULD SAY COLD AIR INTAKE FROM COMPANIES LIKE AEM, FUJITA, OR INJEN THEN I'D LOOK AT GETTING A CAT-BACK EXHAUST FROM COMPANIES LIKE GREDDY, HKS, TANABE, OR SKUNK2. ALSO YOU MAY WANT 2 LOOK IN 2 A HEADER BUT BEING A NEW CAR THESE MAY VOID WARRANTY JUST CHECK WITH YOUR LOCAL DEALERSHIP BEFORE DOING ANY OF THESE MODS. BEFORE I FORGET THE BEST BANG FOR THE BUCK FOR THE K-SERIES ENGINE IS THE K-PRO ECU UPGRADE FROM HONDATA CHECK IT OUT AT HONDATA.COM
