i replaced the instrument panel fuse because it was blown. i tried the interior light fuse under the hood but it was not blown

Buy a 99 Honda

change the bulb

See a mechanic.

Did you try replacing the lightbulb?

Did you try replacing the light bulb in the dome light?

Change the bulb.

Check the light bulb, genius.

If you have replaced the bulb and it still doesn't work try this. When you open the door, look at the door jamb where the door latches when closed. There should be an L-shaped piece that slides. Manually slide it back and forth and see if it turns on.If it does, it means that its either too dirty for it to move, or the spring lost its elasticity (sp?). It's a simple fix, slide the piece back, remove the Philips head screw that appears. Take out the piece and clean it. Reinstall and see if it works. If it doesn't, just go to the junkyard and take one off any Honda, they're pretty much the same. Then just replace it.Good Luck!
