Yes you can, but you would need a OBD-II to OBD-I adapter/wiring harness. Also, you would need custom axles since the 4th gen lude has a less wider base than the 5th gen. Also, the H22 came in the 93+ models. 92 ludes had the H23a1 and the F22b.

Why do that when the engine you have is just as good as or even better than the engine you want to put in? Belive me stick with the OBD2 engine it will save you a lot of hassle. But yeah you can it is a direct engine swap.

You can all you need to do is use the adapter harness and use the obd1 ecu because the obd2 ecu's for the h22a4 have a built in immobilizer. There are ways around this but ALOT easier to just get the p13 ecu from the obd1 h22a. Or if there is nothing wrong with the h22a4, just simply convert it to run obd1 diagnostics. You do not need different axles unless the h22a4 is from a Prelude type SH with ATTS, in that case your better off keeping the h22a4 in there because the ATTS unit along with the wiring involved would just be rediculous.
