Buy a Chilton or Haynes manual for your car if you are going to be working on it. $10 at any parts store. You won't believe the hassles it saves, especially when you pull off all the plug wires, then forget which one goes where.

1-3-4-2 #1 is on opposite end from distributor. The distributor rotates clockwise. #1 should be marked on the cap.
