No I havent but I have seen a couple of sets that were painted and they looked bad up close.

iv seen them powder coated... very nice.... talk to a body shop..they may have a trick or two to help.. no reason it has to look bad...

I've done it before and they came out nice but I had to do a LOT of prep work first like sanding, cleaning, and priming.

i did it so my wheels would match my car,they looked good for a month and then the brake dust started eating the paint off.brake dust is very corrosive,wouldnt suggest wasting your time and money

Most spray paint cans can't get the paint to coat as evenly as an air pumped paint. The result will look a bit bumpy and uneven. Trust me, I painted my old '93's with a can of black high temp gloss paint.If you want to paint alloy's, you might want to save up a lil' $$$ to have them powder coated. They'll shine for years if you take care of them.
