My dad recently inherited a Honda Passport from his father who recently passed away. It's either a '95 or '97 model (I'm not quite sure). Anyhow, he's been complaining that he can't get the seat to scoot far enough back. He's 5'10", but has never had this problem with any other vehicle before. We've even previously owned Honda's before and they've always been plently roomy. Has anyone else experienced this problem with the Passport seats or are his perhaps broken? He said they barely scoot back and then lock...leaving him scrunched up while driving. Any help would be much appreciated! Thanks!

Does your Father have any problem adjusting the passenger seat so he is comfortable? If not then its the driver's seat.I would check under the driver's seat and make sure the rails on which the seat travel back and forth are clear.

First of all, your Passport is really an Isuzu Rodeo. The drivers seat does not have alot of travel to begin with.

There is a good answer for that. the passport is the worst mistake Honda ever made. They bought the rights for the vehicle from Isuzu, who has the Rodeo which is the same vehicle as the passport. I would ask Isuzu that question!

honestly your best bet is to get rid of the pasport...i work at a honda dealer and we refuse to work on them..there is nothing that is ever related to a honda on that car except for the emblem...all of the systems are different! they are actually a rodo...we have seen many many many of them with problems so get rid of it as quick as u can!
