I did 175km/hr(110mi/hr) in my 2005 Honda Civic, with the pedal to the medal for about 1 minute.My Honda Civic as an Si. But it has a very small 1.7L engine! When I tested it to see how fast I could make it go, I did it on a long stright strech at 2:00 in the morning.....so there were almost no cars...heheOh, one more thing, its got a V-Tech engine.

i used to have a BMW 320ci i hit 160km/hr and sh!t myself.....but it was a long time ago and in hindsight very irresponsible....

toyota camry's speed limiter kicks in @ 125mph but will stay there for at least an hour, the suburu wrx still has power on reserve @ 140mph, ford explorer gets scary @ 100mph.that would be 201.6 kph, 225.0kph,160.93kph.

You car drivers are whimps!!Try a GSX R1000 Suzuki (or something similar) at 280 + kph. Wide highway sweepers become real bends at those speeds, and sorts out the men from the boys!Get a life, pal, and ride a bike!

Well I am lucky to live in Germany since I am a speed freak. There are stretches here that will little or no traffice (rare), great visibility and calm warm weather you can go as fast as you want to.Top speed so far.. 174 MPH in a 1991 Mercedes 500 SEC Lorinser.
