I just got a used 92 honda acord and there is a green "s" on the dashboard that blinks occasionlly-- does anyone know what that means?

Is it a stick, if that's the case it's probably a shift light

Scott D. is probably right. I'ts telling you when to up-shift, for optimal fuel economy.

i have a 91 accord and its auto but there is a button on the side of the gear shift and it means sport, but only if urs is auto. hope that helps.

The flashing "green S" is a sign that the transmission computer has picked up a problem with your transmission. The problem could be a simple electrical problem or a expensive mechanical problem. Either way you will have to get the car scanned and take it from there. Good luck.......

i'm speakin from prior experience.your problem is going to be you speed sensor or your transmission computer.
