Is beige a good color for a honda civic, Is it true that insurance could be lower?

The color of your car has nothing to do with the cost of your insurance. I was an insurance underwriter for a major company and we didn't care if your car was red. We did care about how much it would cost to repair and whether it was a car that was likely to be stolen or if it was one that was likely to be used in a way that would increase the chances of a claim.

Your car could be just the pure metal color and the insurance company wouldn't care. Now the cops, that's a different story, cetertain colos stick out like a sore thumb. Like a nice yellow or candy coated red.

I don't think color makes a difference to your insurance premium, but the number of doors will. Generally, a 2 door coupe is more costly to insure than a 4 door sedan . Color may be a determination when it comes to resale value, as I don't think beige is a very popular color in the used car market.

Actually I owned a major national insurance company and worked as an insurance agent for over 50 years. I can tell you that color is not a factor in how much we will charge for insurance.
