Default Hoda Civic - Blower motor works on 3rd and 4th setting but not on 1st and 2nd. Any ideas?

The blower works with a resistor grid behind the dash that passes a certain amount of current depending on the setting. I think one or two of the resistors have popped their clogs.

The blower motor resistor pack is bad replace the resistor pack and it should be ok . thats usually located in the air box near the heater core and held in with a couple of screws. If its not that then there could be relays are bad or the speed switch. but rarely its the last two items

there's a wire resistor in the line and it sounds if either a wire has come off or the two sections for those speeds have burnt out. If so down to the local breakers yard for a new one!

Most likely the ballast resistor but you need to also check the switch.

It sounds like burnt out or detatched resistors on your blower control switch. If not just use settings 3 and 4 and turn the stereo up!!
