This really depends on what year the Civic is, and what your main goals are. The Eclipse is not the most reliable of choices (and has quite likely seen some hard use) but can make huge amounts of horsepower. The Civic won't have the brutal power levels, but many of them were good cornering machines.Which of the two actually is more reliable, though, will depend on the condition of the two, and the age of the Civic.
