Default Honda CR-V 2007 EX, Deal or No deal?

I just came out from the Honda dealer. After 3 hours of negotiating and whatnot, we finally reached a resolution. MSRP on this model is $24646. I was able to get it at $23,900 with a rear spoiler as well as a roof rack. Now is that good or did i get cheated?i didn't purchase the car yet, no money has been given.. i said let me check out other dealers first

You saved some money off the sticker and got a car you like, that's probably the best deal you're ever gonna get from a car dealer. They will always have the upperhand and make lots of profit regardless or they won't sell the vehicle. They're pros, they do it all day every day, we only do it every 4, 5 or so years. Think about it. Enjoy your Honda, they're excellent automobiles and the new Civics are hott!

You already bought the car, you got the car you wanted right? I wouldn't torture yourself over whether or not you could have squeezed another $500 off of the deal now. In the long run what difference will it make?Honda dealers are notorious for being hard bargainers because the cars sell well. If you want to save $5000 below MSRP you would have bought a POS American car that they are begging people to buy and they would have given you a free Plasma TV with it too probably. You did the right thing getting the Honda, the CR-V is excellent, you'll be very happy with it and it will retain its value so well over the years that you shouldn't sweat what you paid for it at all. It's a fair deal. Congrats.

I work for a Honda Dealership, im in sales! The price you got is excellent, they usually sell for over MSRP. Because of the supply vs. demand! Go and get your CR-V, before someone else buys it for more!
