Hi allI have a 1995 honda civic 1.6i LSThe zapper for the remote will not lock or unlock the car.(Yes i have replaced the batteries)Before i go fork out for a replacement is there anything else that could be causing the fault.. e.g a fuse or the likes?Any help greatly appreciated.Thanks Ric

Could not be linked anymore, go to a dealer and they should be able to do it for free. Linking the remote is simple and takes only a few minutes.

the remote system in the 92-95 models is garbage i have the same one they were not put in by Honda they were put in after market all brake your bet bet if you really wont the keyless entry is to get a new one put in

Honda DID have OEM security systems that lock and unlock the doors. It was a very rare option though.If your internal door lock switch still locks and unlocks the doors, then the locking assemblies are fine. Check the 20 amp fuse in the underdash fuse box, it's the 4th from the left in the top row of fuses. If that's not the problem, take it to a dealer that will troubleshoot for you.
