Default Cold weather headlight problem?

This only occurs in cold weather, -15c and below. When I leave my 1994 Honda Accord out overnight and turn on the headlights in the morning it takes up to 10 seconds before my headlights actually come on. The colder it gets the longer the delay. There is never a problem in warm weather. I'm thinking it may be a wiring condensation problem? Any suggestions?

it might be where the wire connection is in the back of the headlight but if you put some kind of insulation around the contacts will still get cold from the front of the headlight when the cold comes in from their so it just sounds to me that their is not much you could do try insulating the connector (the plastic peice that connects to the prongs in the back of the headlight cause when they get cold it will not get the electric it needs until the connectors get warm)

It's the law of physics. A light must burn hotter in order to burn brighter. There isn't a problem with your wiring, or the lights won't turn on at all.

There could be a wiring problem that connects the headlight. It may be loose connection to the bulb, or poor contact with the bulb (dirt on the connectors).
