hi.. i have a honda civic v tec 97'...today when i went out it was really cold out there and i started my car and turned my heater on.. and found tht the fan does not seem to work as fast as it did b4 on 1 & 2.. and on 3 & 4 its alrite.. anyone know y?so how do i change the direction back...

It may just be the direction controller. I have a 2004 CTR and when I change the direction of the air it does some times sound like the fan isn't going as fast, in actual fact its just because the air has been routed in a different direction making a different sound to normal.Try moving your direction controller.

I have a 1997 Honda Civic... ...You're a little luckier than me.. as mine doesn't work on 1 & 2 ata ll... only on 3 & 4... I have seen a Honda dealer garage and they have told me the part i need but it's like £90... so it will have to wait until after Christmas for me to be able to afford it... I just keep it on 3 most the time to stop the car from steaming up... but the great thing about those car's... they heat up brilliantly fast!xx

it probably is the motor is getting old or a belt needs to get changed

change the delay.

the ressor at the fan box is breaking down and a new one will be requierd under dash left side fan box is screwed in by 2 scews check the plug and terminals as they get wet and corrode
