I just purchased a Honda Accord 2007 EX, I'd like to throw some performance upgrades on it, but I'm not sure where to start. Does anybody have any suggestions on what companies sell those upgrades? What I'm thinking about upgrading: Turbo, Chip, Exhaust, Suspension - Any imput would be helpful..

http://www.hondata.com/ is the place to start for engine management. Eibachs has a good suspension kit that will drop the car about 1" and improve roll. As for turbos, I've never heard of a turbo for an Accord, maybe a supercharger - try Comptech - it has a good reputation but I don't know if they make anything for an 07 Accord. I'd avoid turbos for all the hassle that comes with the plumbing - at least a super charger is a pretty straight forward addition. If you put a cold air intake on the accord, it will get better throttle response, and you may get a few hp from a better cat-back exhaust. Other steps would be running a test pipe instead of the catalytic converter, but that is illegal in almost every state and you can get big tickets, no to mention the minimal power increase will be offset by a lot of smoke an smell.A different transmission gear ratio might help with sprint times, but I don't know of anyone who swaps gears in Accords.Fyi, if you wanted to tune, you'd probably be better off with a Civic Si. If you wanted real power out of a sedan, you should have bought a Subaru Legacy GT and put a Cobb chip in it and replaced the stock turbo and IC with the STI parts.

Always start with your bolt-ons first, meaning your exhaust, headers, cold air intake. Then go with some cams and cam gears. If you stop there, then do the Hondata ECU chip.If you do the Hondata chip first, it will not account for your exhaust and internal upgrades thus you don't get the full benefit of the chip.If you're actually going with a supercharger, I hope you plan on learning all about tuning (or have a friend that knows) cuz you're force inducting an engine that was not designed for it. You'll have to tune and maintain the engine a lot unless you don't mind your engine blowing. Also, you'll be running on lean conditions so you should get bigger injectors and upgrade your fuel pump.Dump your suspension in any time you feel.Companies with reputable products are HKS, Greddy, Trust, AEM for the cold air intake, Hondata for the chip, Jackson Racing for the supercharger.Good luck!
