No there's nothing better than the type ROld people drive normal Civics!!!!!

A civic is an ok car and being insurance group 9 rather than 17 saves a lot of cash. However I drive an Integra R Type and without a doubt the extra power makes the drive.Depends whether speed, acceleration, styling and respect or a bit more money is more important to you.

Yes it is a great car. I own a Honda S2000 which its top speed is 159mph but I can't get it there with traffic. You take care of a Honda it will take care of you. What i mean is don't add any after market parts and do your oil change. You will have the car as long as you wont. I got over 310,000 miles on mine. good luck.

By the way only the SI model has 6 speeds. the regular civic only has 5.

Get the Civic Diesel, the Type R is a track day car, flat as a turd in mid range and a total pain on the road, and yet it has YOO HOO mr Plod pull me over bloody red wheel rims now, god help us, and it aint got a Mitsubishi style cat bypass so its efficiency at high outputs is compromised. Diesel is fastest other than Type R so get one.

Ford Focus TDCI will do 124mph, and only needs 115Bhp on 5 speed to do it, and you'll get 50 Mpg, but then again thats not for posing in I guess

I would go for the type r cos it looks much better although when you think about the insurance it is pretty expensive. Remember you can only get the type r in 3 doors while the normal one is 5 doors. I am glad you chose a Honda cos it is a very reliable car. But look after your Honda carefully and it will reward you in the end with a 250'000 mileage which is superb when you come to think about it
