I have a 91 Prelude so it's pretty much the same thing. You have to take out your center console. The part the goes from the dash over your radio, to the where it meets the e-brake. If you still dont understand it's where your right leg would rest against if you were driving. There should be 3 philips head screws on each side of the console. Take those off. Unscrew the shifter knob, like if it were a bottle of coke, counterclockwise. Pull the e-brake up, and start to remove the console. You're gonna have to start playing with the ebrake in order to get the console out. Once it's out flip it over and there should be 4 little philips screws holding down a metal bracket that holds down the boot. Take those off, then you can take the boot off. You can get a shift knob and boot at Pepboys or Autozone.
