Default 00' civic si lowered or body kits?

i own a 2000 si and thinking of getting body kits. I've already lowered it and its looks kinda clean with the stock lips just that the bottom's kinda scraped up so two choices...fix the scraps on the lips or a new look with bomex body kits? opinions?

I'd raise it about a half inch if you have adjustables then fix the scrapes. Otherwise you'll end up with more scrapes or worse you'll spend $1000 on a body kit and get that scraped.

Have you thought it over or had any experience with bodykits first off its not gonna fit perfect and you still have to paint etc your looing at about 3k for the kit and install and paint. If the lip is scrapped then a bodykit is gonna break and plus you can't fix scratches on lips because if you sand it, it's gonna look like shit if you do fix it trust me your gonna have to spray it.

I've had a lot of experience with import tuning. If you haven't gotten a coil over system, then you need to get that. body kits are pretty much for all show. a few expensive ones do help with performance, but not many. I actually think bomex is one of them. the guy that says it will cost 3k is a moron. you can get a knock off bomex and it looks just as good. you can find a whole kit for around $400-600 go to andysautosport. bomexaero is also good. good luck!

Alright...I am a 00 Civic Si owner as well and I have the stock lip kit on my car still and I have had it for almost 4 years now. Please do not ricer out your Si...just keep the stock lip kit....or...get the Mugen or Greddy front lip and then some very tasteful side skirts. For the love of God...dont put that horrendously ugly Bomex kit on your car. It is so gaudy and screams....Im a dumb ricer

Save ur money and embarrasement. Its not cool to do those kind of things. If you want to make it fast thats ok. Make it a sleeper and keep it stock.
