how fast does honda del sol accelerate from 0 to 60 mp/h with 160 ps engine (b16a2)? del sol VTI?

They never were a particularly fast car 0-60. Because of the way the vtec works, the optimum power band does not kick in until about 5500 rpm. Get it spinning at this and the car howls as the v tec starts working. The engine just keeps on revving until its limiter at 8500 rpm. Thats standard. These cars can actually rev to 16000 rpm by de limiting them but its hard on the unit. It wont last long revving like a motor bike every day. The 0-60 is in and around the 8 second mark. The BA16 is probably one of the best engines ever built, real tunable.190 bhp is easily achievable with very little modding. Dont bother with an auto, you need to be able to choose your gears, not the gearbox choosing it for you.

proboably around maybe 8 seconnds or more...... depending on the driver and the mods done the car
