...is that? I have a 97 honda civic (automatic) and for the second time in 3 months while i was at a stop and tryd to press the gas to go it just reved up like if it was in neutral. When i put it in reverse it went perfectly and i put it in drive again and it went fine. My car runs great other then that lil problem I just hope my tranny is not going out. Could someone tell me what the prob might be, Please?

Its your motor mounts i drive a civic too and it did tha same thing.i replaced my motor mounts and it ran fine

Maybe try changing your trans. fluid and when they refill it have them add "Lucas - transmission fluid treatment". If that doesn't work you might have a solenoid in your transmission going bad.
