my 1995 honda accord parking gears is/are hard to put in gear why?

has it always been like that?mayb its just a defector mayb you spilled sumn sticky over it

if it is an automatic it sounds like your shift cable is binding seen it many of times,and if it is a manual transmission could be gear selector cable and or syncros for your gear selection when shifting.if it is your synchros it will grind and not let you shift into gear without pushing hard on the shifter.
