Civics don't need such a thing. It has a good engine cooling system. It's just like putting a N2O in a bicycle.VERY USELESS !!!

You know guys, give him a break. I've been trying to buy an Infiniti G35 Coupe ever since I was 15, and I still don't have the cash to buy it. So when we cant quite afford the big dogs yet, we turn to smaller sport compacts. Like Civics. To answer your question... I've installed an intake system on my 1993 Honda Civic DX with a D15B7 non-VTEC SOHC engine, and it was as easy as replacing a light bulb. Just take the old air intake system out, put the new one in place, hold it to the intake manifold properly with hose clamps, and then secure the smaller secondary air-fuel or O2 sensor hoses into the new intake tube. The holes should already be there in the tube for you, whether it's a universal fit or not. And don't be fooled by the small D15B7 engine in my car, that little upgrade gave me approx. 4 HP in that little 4 popper for just under $80. And 4 HP is a lot to notice in a 4 banger.

remove the old one by removing the clap off of the throttle bod. then remove the lid off of the air box. remove filter. remove the bolts int the botom of the box or under it ( cant remeber ) then remove the old air box bottom..... apply coupling and clamp to top of the intake... fit top section of piping onto the throttle body... then take the 2nd half of the piping, fit it down the hole that the old one used to sit over............. couple the two pipes together..... go under car and behind bumper and attach new filter with clamp onto end of piping and ur good to go... now dont run over any huge puddles now.... hydrolock isnt a very good thing
