Engine firing order is listed as 1-3-4-2 in the Haynes Repair Manual. The number on the cylinder head is as follows. If you are facing the front of the car, the number one spark plug is the the far right. Number two is to the immediate left of number one. Number three is to the immediate left of number two. Number four is to the immediate left of number three. Now picture the face of a clock. Stand to the right side(passenger side of the car facing the distribtutor) Two oclock on the distributor cap is the 1st ignition wire. four oclock is the 3rd ignition wire. eight oclock is the fourth ignition wire and 11 oclock is the second ignition wire.Hope this helps.
