it is possible. depending on the year you will also need a knock sensor wire, and vtec oil pressure switch wire in addition to the vetc solenoid wire. sometimes its just better to get the wiring harness for the motor your swapping. this way all the connectors are the same. every time you cut a wire into a harness it leads to the possibility for more problems.
