I used to own a 1990 Honda Accord LX and had the same exact problem. Check the ECU box in the left corner nearest the passenger side door. Check all your fuses there is a short in your electrical system. If the problem persists, you might have to get it checked by a certified ASE technician.

It may be because of an ignition problem because it has happened to our Honda Accord too.

Check the ignition switch on the steering column that might be the problem.
