i have a 95 honda civic it sat all winter with the emergency brake on and i took it off my front lawn this summer...and the ebrake is stuck on it...the ebrake is down and everything i just cant get the rear wheels to role how can i fix this i plan on putting a motor in it on monday......please help me....The rear brakes are hubs the brakes are in the inside of the drum...my dad today me to just beat on the drums and it should release but the havent

My thoughts are, that your brake cables are hung up.Parking a car on dirt is "hell & jesus" on the underside of a car!!!This is a VERY poor practice.You'll probably find out that everything is frozen up from the e-brake handle to the rear brakes due to moisture trapped beneaththe car for that long period of time.Sorry I can't give you a quick fix.

the thing is the car didnt sit on dirt it sat on my lawn all winter... when i first started pulling it of my lawn the rear wheels moved so its got to be something stupid i have to get the problem resolved asap i go to get the motor for it this morning in less the 3 hours...
