Default Help on Honda Civic EG Hatch.?

Need help on my Civic. An autoshop informed me that I should change my Rack & Pinion assembly because it makes certain sounds when turning. Is this true? It is not power steering. Is this the only one needed to be change? Serious answers only. Thank you in advance.

Oh honey I we get pricks on the american cars questions too. So anyways It could be the rack and pinion but go to other car garages and see what they have to say about it. Then go with the cheapist

does it make a clik, clik clik clik clik clik sound when you you turn only or does it make a sound when you are parkd and u turn the wheel left to right and it makes like a dom dom dom dom sound if it cliks wen you are driving and turning then it for sure is you axels or cv shafts but if it makes that dom dom dom sound when you are parkd and move the wheel side to side then it for sure is your rack and pinion.
