Any comments on the 1995 Honda Civic Lx?

They are One of the most reliable cars besides toyota's so go ahead and get the Honda : )

They are reliable if you like your engine being made of recycled metals, which means there are more than 1 type of alloy in them. Worst engines I ever worked on. Can't take abuse.

A little fact about this car in case your considering purchasing is that this model Honda has a 150,000 mile warranty on the emissions system which includes a 1 time free tune up.Emissions system would cover o2 sensors, cat. converter, exhaust manifold, Pcm, etc.Great cars!!

No, but I used to have a '93 Civic Lx coupe that was cursed. There was nothing wrong with the car itself, but for some reason bad external stuff kept happening to it (got keyed, got run into, that sort of thing).Very reliable - I got rid of it after 10 years and 180,000 miles and the only things that had ever needed replacing were tires, brake pads, and the muffler. Oh, and the water pump, but that was scheduled maintenance.
