Default Do I need a different set of lug nuts when I switch from alloy wheel to steel wheel for my Honda

Civic ?

Yes ::::: and get a set of lock bolts (lug nuts) Alloy wheels are a big target for the bad guys.

if the mobile part is the nut then NO... in most cases, (except for those nuts with one end filled or when the threads on the screws are not on the whole length of the screw..., making it impossible to tighten them)

alloy wheels look really dumb wth steel lug nutsyour wheel supplier should have he right ones

no, just keep the same snap-rings that held your wheels on before.

It doesn't really matter as long as it fits, most often people buy lug nuts because after market wheels have a smaller opening for the luh nuts that why you have to buy different ones. But don't buy them for safty like some of these people ar asking because if a thief wants your wheels he'll take the whole car.
