Waste of money, you want a straight through exhaust with equal length headers or manifold and a ceramic cat bypass valve and bypass pipe like a Mitsubishi, if yours has a Cat,, if not, big bore leading to a single out let 2" or less diameer painted black. That way it looks and sounds nice and smooth and quietish when Mr Plod is around and howls when it starts revving, trouble is you need either grunt at around 3 500 rpm or 7 500 pluss for a 4 to sound good but a Golf does neither.Twin tail pipes just shout Yoo Hoo Mr Plod Come and book me and hurt the power and fuel mileage.

Most aftermarket exhaust mufflers cost around the same price depending on the material (Titanium, Stainless Steel etc). They also offer similar horsepower increase. If you wanna know if it is worth the dosh you will have to find out if it this make & brand is approved by your local authorities! If not you will end up spending extra money to change it back to the OEM exhaust muffler.

If it looks good and sounds right to you, then it was worth every penny and who cares what everyone else thinks. As for the price, sounds about right for a Scorpion. Powerflow are a bit less money but they are all custom systems and you cant buy them 'off the shelf'.
